The Long Walk 2006

This August a group of ten insane twenty-somethings, including myself, walked 130 miles along the rugged Cornwall coast from Bude to Land's End. Eight grueling days of walking, blisters, burning sunshine, lashing rain and excellent beer.

Yet again, I used the walk as an opportunity to raise as much money as possible for a good cause: The MS Society provide help and support for those who suffer from multiple sclerosis, which can be a pretty damned miserable illness. Perhaps more importantly they also fund research into a cure.

Total raised so far: £614.50

Bude to Land's End

This time around we set off with a slightly larger group with the aim of getting from Bude, where we finished last time, all the way to Land's End, the most westerly point in England. Shockingly enough, we did it! 130 miles of walking up and down some of the most rugged and beautiful shoreline in the world.
